‘I would personally like to thank the Wi-FI Spark Team for their support in enabling more people to watch and get involved in the excitement of the Euro 2016 games, it makes a huge difference to patient and staff morale.’

What a wonderful email to receive on a Friday morning, or any morning! Our customer: Cardiff & Vale University Health Board emailed today to thank us for our support.

C&V UHB have been rallying behind Wales during the Euros 2016, and WiFi SPARK has been supporting them to ensure that the patients, staff and visitors at the hospitals receive the highest quality WiFi connectivity.

At Cardiff and Vale hospitals patients, staff and visitors are able to stream the football matches and other TV over the WiFi straight to their personal devices.WiFi SPARK provides the WiFi provision over the Cisco WiFi Infrastructure. WiFi SPARK and Cisco regularly join forces to support Cardiff & Vale UHB, visiting at Christmas as part of the Cisco Santa Hospital tour!

Here at WiFi SPARK we pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service and being agile and speedy in our responses, and we are thrilled to have been able to help the team at Cardiff & Vale UHB.

The whole email read:

Dear Tracy, Matt, Claire, Sian, Oliver and Marc

I would personally like to thank the Wi-FI Spark Team for their support in enabling more people to watch and get involved in the excitement of the Euro 2016 games, it makes a huge difference to patient and staff morale.

Operation Lille has commenced and the SSID Wales_v_Belguim is now operational throughout all our Wi-Fi areas supported by your service!

This support will enable more of our patients, visitors and staff  to be part of this major event in our sporting history, allowing our sickest and most vulnerable patients to watch the game at their bedside.

The Wi-Fi service you provide to  Cardiff and Bale University Health Board for its patients, visitors and staff in all our hospitals is funded by our Health Charity, of which we are grateful.

We wish our national football team, with all our “heart”, the very, very best this Friday evening, whatever the result.  You have helped to bring our nation together.  These past weeks will become part of our sporting history, giving the nation something to look back on with pride.

Wales fans will be hoping for me to come back to Wi-Fi Spark at 22.00hrs with my “cap-in-hand” this Friday requesting even more access for the match against Portugal.

Thanks once again,

Regards,

Gareth
